In 1980, Robert opened his own practice in Blowing Rock, NC. He had a few stepping-stones on the way before setting up shop in this mountain town, where he raised his two children, one of which would later become his business partner. Robert graduated from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and later, worked for Seidman & Seidman, CPAs in High Point, NC. Following this, he opened a wholesale hardware business catering to the furniture industry in the same area. As he began his move up to the mountains and before settling in Blowing Rock, he also worked for a regional accounting firm in Lenoir. Since the founding of his business, Robert has accumulated over four decades of experience working with individuals and small businesses.
